Mountain View Carpet Care offers quality oriental rug cleaning in La Center, WA! | 350+ 5-Star Google Reviews | Book Today!
Oriental rugs can collect dirt, fungi, and dangerous bacteria if not cleaned regularly. A way to test your oriental rug’s cleanliness is to pick up a corner and drop it. If you see dirt and dust come off the rug, it needs cleaning.
With Mountain View Carpet Care, you can expect a thorough oriental rug cleaning. You also get exceptional customer service, professional care, and a complete rug cleaning process. When licensed and insured professionals clean your oriental rugs, your home stays clean, healthy, and happy.
Because of this, we use a hand-washing, compression-air cleaning system for oriental rugs and fine textiles.
Oriental Rug Cleaning for La Center Homes
- Newer neighborhoods have been added around La Center over the years. Many newer homes have hard floors with rugs in the living room and dining room, and those rugs collect dirt fast.
- Many homes outside the city limits sit on rural acreage. On rural properties, dust and dirt from outside settle deep into rug fibers.
- Downtown La Center has a small business district with shops and offices. We also clean rugs used in offices and shops.
The rainy months bring a lot of grit indoors, and it settles at the base of rug fibers where you cannot see it. Ready to get started in La Center? Request a free estimate.

What We Do
How We Work
We stand behind our work and will make it right if you’re not satisfied.
Our Oriental Rug Cleaning Process Goes Above and Beyond!
Each step below has a purpose, and we do not skip them.
If anything is unclear, contact us and we will explain.
First, we walk through the job with you. We check how dirty the carpet is, what it is made of, what worries you most, and which stains may not come out.
Need a sofa moved? Just ask. We move it for you at no extra charge.
While we walk through, we sort out what kind of spots you have. Some get a pre-treatment with a pH neutralizing spray made for that type of spot. Our products are green and safe for the family.
Next, we pre-condition your carpet with the right product to suspend the soil, so soil and spots come out more easily. Our pre-conditioner is also an environmentally friendly product, tested and approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute. When the soil level calls for it, we also pre-groom the carpet with a carpet groomer or pile lifting machine. This further loosens soil in traffic areas.
Now our truck-mounted hot water extraction flushes the soil out of the pile. We keep the pressure and heat in check so the carpet is never over-wet, and the rinse sanitizes and deodorizes as it cleans. We also extract twice, which speeds up drying and helps your air quality.
To keep sticky residue from staying in the carpet, we pH balance it. This goes on as a rinse through the machine or after the rinse, depending on the soil.
If any spots remain after cleaning, we use specialty spotting techniques. We have written procedures for every situation. Note: Some stains we point out during the walk-through may not come out.
You can add fabric protection, which helps the carpet hold up against dirt and spills. We recommend it after each professional cleaning to keep carpet looking newer longer.
High velocity fans go on the carpet to help it dry faster.
A carpet rake sets the pile in one direction, which improves the look and helps drying.
Last, we walk the cleaned areas with you and go over the results, to make sure you are happy with the work.
Residential Oriental Rug Cleaning FAQ
How much does rug cleaning cost?
It depends on the rug’s size, fiber (wool, silk or synthetic), construction and condition, plus any pet or spot treatment. Oriental rugs and fine textiles are cleaned with a hand-washing, compression-air system instead of the method used on wall-to-wall carpet. For a free estimate, call 360-721-3166 or request a free estimate online. Have the rug’s measurements ready, and mention any fringe damage, color bleeding or care labels.
