About Our Residential Carpet Cleaning

Mountain View Carpet Care offers residential carpet cleaning in Felida, WA. 350+ 5-Star Google Reviews and Over 20 Years in Business.

Felida is mostly newer neighborhoods, mixed with homes on bigger lots. Busy family homes here wear down stairs and hallways fast, especially in the rainy months.

Every job starts with a walk-through. We look for pet spots, traffic lanes and the kind of soil in your carpet, pre-treat to match, agitate the fibers, then rinse it all out with truck-mounted hot water extraction. Safe and effective carpet cleaning you can count on.

Carpet Cleaning Around Felida

  • Families use Felida Community Park and the west end of the Salmon Creek Greenway Trail. Wet trail dirt settles at the entry, so we pre-treat there first.
  • Vancouver Lake and Lake River are on Felida’s west side. Lake sand and damp dogs leave spots we treat before the rinse.
  • Newer homes often have carpeted stairs and bonus rooms, and that is where traffic lanes show first.
  • Air movers are available as a premium add-on for faster drying.

What We Do

How We Work

We stand behind our work and will make it right if you’re not satisfied.

Our Residential Carpet Cleaning Process Goes Above and Beyond!

Good results come from a good process. Here is how we work, step by step.
If you have questions about any step, please ask.

Step 1: Pre-Inspection

First, we walk through the job with you. We check how dirty the carpet is, what it is made of, what worries you most, and which stains may not come out.

Step 2: Furniture Moving

We will move a sofa at your request for no extra charge.

Step 3: Pre-Spot

Different spots need different treatments, so we identify them first. Many get a pH neutralizing pre-spray before cleaning. The products we use are green and safe for your family.

Step 4: Pre-Spray and Pre-Groom

Then we pre-spray with an environmentally friendly pre-conditioner that is tested and approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute. It holds the soil up so it comes out in the rinse. If the soil is heavy, a carpet groomer or pile lifting machine works it loose first.

Step 5: Extract and Rinse

Now our truck-mounted hot water extraction flushes the soil out of the pile. We keep the pressure and heat in check so the carpet is never over-wet, and the rinse sanitizes and deodorizes as it cleans. We also extract twice, which speeds up drying and helps your air quality.

Step 6: Neutralizer

To keep sticky residue from staying in the carpet, we pH balance it. This goes on as a rinse through the machine or after the rinse, depending on the soil.

Step 7: Post Spot Treatment

If a spot is still there after cleaning, we go after it with specialty spotting methods and written procedures for that situation. Some stains noted during the inspection may not come out completely.

Step 8: Fabric Protection – Optional

If you choose it, fabric protection helps guard your carpet from both dry and liquid soil. So we recommend fabric protection after each professional cleaning to keep your carpet looking as new as possible.

Step 9: Speed Dry (Premium Package)

We place high velocity fans on the carpet to speed up drying and shorten drying time.

Step 10: Post Grooming

A carpet rake sets the pile in one direction, which improves the look and helps drying.

Step 11: Post Cleaning Inspection

Last, we walk the cleaned areas with you and go over the results, to make sure you are happy with the work.

Residential Carpet Cleaning FAQ

How much does carpet cleaning cost?

Price depends on the number of rooms and stairs, how soiled the carpet is, whether any spots need pet urine treatment, and options like fabric protection or speed drying with high-velocity fans (part of the premium package). Estimates are free: call 360-721-3166 or request a free estimate online with your room count and problem spots. At the walk-through, Richard points out any stains that may not come out completely before cleaning starts, and moving a sofa is included at no extra charge.

Do you serve Felida?

Yes. We come to homes and businesses across Felida, including the neighborhoods between Salmon Creek and Lake River, near Vancouver Lake. We also serve Battle Ground, Brush Prairie, Camas, Hazel Dell, La Center, Lake Shore, Ridgefield, Salmon Creek, Vancouver and Washougal.

What cleaning method do you use?

Truck-mounted hot water extraction, often called steam cleaning. After a walk-through and pre-spotting, the carpet is pre-sprayed with a conditioner approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute, then flushed with a double extraction while heat and pressure are controlled so it isn’t over-wet. Every carpet is pH balanced so no sticky residue stays behind, then groomed with a carpet rake. Hot water extraction is a widely recognized carpet cleaning method, including in care guidance from carpet manufacturers.

We book appointments Monday through Sunday, 8am to 6pm, including weekends. Estimates are free: call 360-721-3166 or request a free estimate online. When you get in touch, have your room count, any problem spots and two or three days that work for you ready.
