Step 1: Pre-Inspection

Our technician starts with a walk-through inspection with you. Then we note soiling conditions, carpet construction, your concerns, and any stains that may be permanent.

Step 2: Furniture Moving

If you would like the sofa moved so we can clean under it, we will do it for no extra charge.

Step 3: Pre-Spot

We figure out what caused each spot during the walk-through. Then we may pre-treat it with a pH neutralizing spray that fits that spot. All of our products are green and family safe.

Step 4: Pre-Spray and Pre-Groom

We apply a pre-conditioner picked for your carpet. It lifts soil so dirt and spots release more easily, and it is environmentally friendly and approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute. When traffic lanes are very dirty, we pre-groom with a groomer or pile lifting machine.

Step 5: Extract and Rinse

Our truck-mounted system rinses the loosened soil out with hot water extraction. Heat and pressure are set to keep the carpet from getting soaked. The rinse sanitizes and deodorizes, and a double extraction pulls out more moisture so the carpet dries faster and the air stays fresher.

Step 6: Neutralizer

To keep sticky residue from staying in the carpet, we pH balance it. This goes on as a rinse through the machine or after the rinse, depending on the soil.

Step 7: Post Spot Treatment

Leftover spots get a second look with specialty spotting techniques. We have a written procedure for each type. Keep in mind that stains flagged as possibly permanent may not fully come out.

Step 8: Fabric Protection – Optional

If you want it, we apply fabric protection to help guard against dry soil and liquid spills. Adding it after every professional cleaning helps the carpet keep its look longer.

Step 9: Speed Dry (Premium Package)

To cut drying time, we place high velocity fans across the cleaned carpet.

Step 10: Post Grooming

Next, we groom the pile with a carpet rake so it stands in one direction. This helps it look nicer and dry faster.

Step 11: Post Cleaning Inspection

We finish with a walk-through so you can see the results. If something is not right, tell us before we go.

Owner Richard Grindland does every job himself with truck-mounted equipment, Monday through Sunday, 8am to 6pm, and every service on this site is offered in Battle Ground. What cleaning method do you use?

Truck-mounted hot water extraction, often called steam cleaning. After a walk-through and pre-spotting, the carpet is pre-sprayed with a conditioner approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute, then flushed with a double extraction while heat and pressure are controlled so it isn’t over-wet. Every carpet is pH balanced so no sticky residue stays behind, then groomed with a carpet rake. Hot water extraction is a recognized method in the IICRC S100 carpet cleaning standard and in care guidance from carpet manufacturers.
