About Our Residential Carpet Cleaning

Mountain View Carpet Care offers quality residential carpet cleaning in Camas, WA! | Over 350 5-Star Google Reviews | Book Today!

We treat your experience as if it were our own, from your first call until we leave your house!

That’s why our processes aim to have your carpet looking better than ever before. So how do we do it?

Upon arrival, we look to identify pet stains, foot traffic patterns, and soiling types. This helps us determine how to pre-treat your carpet with our non-toxic, hypoallergenic cleaners! Once our solutions settle in, we agitate the carpet. This helps separate soil, grime, and bacteria from the carpet fibers and pile. This allows for maximum cleaning efficiency. Lastly, we use our professional, truck-mounted equipment to extract our cleaners along with all the unwanted debris!

Carpet Cleaning Around Camas

  • Prune Hill and the area north of Lacamas Lake have many newer, larger homes. Newer homes often have carpeted stairs, bedrooms and bonus rooms that pick up dirt quickly with kids and pets.
  • Some of the city’s older homes sit on the streets near downtown Camas. Carpet in older homes has often seen years of foot traffic, so we look closely at worn traffic lanes and old spots before we clean.
  • Lacamas Lake and its trails are a big part of life in Camas. Days at the park or on the trails mean sand, dirt and wet shoes end up on the carpet.

From fall through spring, rain and mud make it hard to keep carpet clean, and a deep cleaning helps get it back on track. Call us for a free estimate on carpet cleaning in Camas.

What We Do

How We Work

We stand behind our work and will make it right if you’re not satisfied.

Our Residential Carpet Cleaning Process Goes Above and Beyond!

Good results come from a good process. Here is how we work, step by step.
If you have questions about any step, please ask.

Step 1: Pre-Inspection

Before any cleaning starts, we walk the rooms with you. We look at traffic areas, carpet type and problem spots, and we tell you up front if a stain might be permanent.

Step 2: Furniture Moving

Ask us to move your sofa and we will, with no added charge.

Step 3: Pre-Spot

While we walk through, we sort out what kind of spots you have. Some get a pre-treatment with a pH neutralizing spray made for that type of spot. Our products are green and safe for the family.

Step 4: Pre-Spray and Pre-Groom

Next, we pre-condition your carpet with the right product to suspend the soil, so soil and spots come out more easily. Our pre-conditioner is also an environmentally friendly product, tested and approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute. When the soil level calls for it, we also pre-groom the carpet with a carpet groomer or pile lifting machine. This further loosens soil in traffic areas.

Step 5: Extract and Rinse

With the soil loosened, our truck-mounted hot water extraction rinses the carpet pile deep down. We control the heat and pressure so the carpet does not get too wet. This rinse also sanitizes and deodorizes. We then make a second extraction pass, which helps air quality and helps the carpet dry faster.

Step 6: Neutralizer

We finish the rinse by pH balancing the carpet, so nothing sticky is left to attract dirt. It is applied through the machine or after rinsing, whichever fits the soil.

Step 7: Post Spot Treatment

Any spots still showing after cleaning get specialty spotting treatment. We follow written steps for each kind of spot. Please note that stains the technician marks as possibly permanent may not come out.

Step 8: Fabric Protection – Optional

Fabric protection is optional. It helps your carpet resist both dry soil and spills, so we suggest adding it after each professional cleaning.

Step 9: Speed Dry (Premium Package)

We place high velocity fans on the carpet to speed up drying and shorten drying time.

Step 10: Post Grooming

We rake the pile so it all lays in one direction. It looks better and dries more evenly.

Step 11: Post Cleaning Inspection

At the end, your technician walks through with you to look at the results together. We want you to be happy with the job before we leave.

Residential Carpet Cleaning FAQ

How much does carpet cleaning cost?

Price depends on the number of rooms and stairs, how soiled the carpet is, whether any spots need pet urine treatment, and options like fabric protection or speed drying with high-velocity fans (part of the premium package). Estimates are free: call 360-721-3166 or request a free estimate online with your room count and problem spots. At the walk-through, Richard points out any stains that may be permanent before cleaning starts, and moving a sofa is included at no extra charge.

Do you serve Camas?

Yes. In Camas, we serve Prune Hill, downtown and the Lacamas Lake area. Owner Richard Grindland does every job himself with truck-mounted equipment, Monday through Sunday, 8am to 6pm, and every service on this site is offered in Camas. We also serve Battle Ground, Brush Prairie, Felida, Hazel Dell, La Center, Lake Shore, Ridgefield, Salmon Creek, Vancouver and Washougal.

What cleaning method do you use?

Truck-mounted hot water extraction, often called steam cleaning. After a walk-through and pre-spotting, the carpet is pre-sprayed with a conditioner approved by the Carpet and Rug Institute, then flushed with a double extraction while heat and pressure are controlled so it isn’t over-wet. Every carpet is pH balanced so no sticky residue stays behind, then groomed with a carpet rake. Hot water extraction is a recognized method in the IICRC S100 carpet cleaning standard and in care guidance from carpet manufacturers.

When are you open?

We book appointments Monday through Sunday, 8am to 6pm, including weekends. Estimates are free: call 360-721-3166 or request a free estimate online. When you get in touch, have your room count, any problem spots and two or three days that work for you ready. One person, owner Richard Grindland, handles every appointment, so that makes scheduling quicker.
